WISE Sequencing

WISE Sequencing can determine the best and most efficient logistical process through JIT (Just in Time) shipments and JIT in Sequence products, thus allowing your manufacturer clients to optimize production, elimi-nating waste in the process to reduce cycle time and costs-while keeping both inventory and warehouse space under control. WISE provides a virtually error free sequencing process that insures components arrive exactly when they are needed.

WISE Sequencing provides the automated pick path route and packing of products to optimize your delivery in the order (the "sequence") in which you need it. For example, automotive seating for a vehicle is delivered for each vehicle or each side of the vehicle or each corner of the vehicle in the order required for maximum productivity and minimal waste. Another example could be the delivery of inventory to your stores in totes sequenced to be delivered by store and store location (back to front).

Manufacturers whose customers require build-to-order products delivered on time and in sequence must have the flexibility to move quickly. WISE provides the solutions to help you deliver products in the sequence your customers demand.

WISE sequencing solution ensures parts and sub-assemblies arrive just-in-time and in the correct order. Our software supports multiple EDI input and output strings to insure real time lot/serial controlled parts are delivered just in time.

Different sequencing methods can be designed for your requirements. WISE provides productivity reports based on login of workers and can be displayed in multiple languages on the RF Screens based on operators preference.

The Company:
ARD is a logistics company that operates under the philosophy of CSP. Customer satisfaction is their number one concern, providing a safe, clean environment for employees while driving profits through effective process mapping. Their Alabama facility is a full service facility with 120,000 sq feet of warehouse, 10,000 sq feet of offices and 18 dock doors.

The Problem:
ARD had a requirement to deliver parts to a Major Luxury Auto manufacturer. This had to be done Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-in-Sequence (JIS) with VeryNarrow Aisle Storage (VNA) and utilizing an Automated Storage Retrieval System (ASRS). ARD needed a fully integrated warehouse management system that could meet all these specific requirements and optimize the loading of Specialized Delivery/Transportation by our fleet of box trucks.

How Royal 4 Systems Helped:Utilizing Royal 4 Systems decades of functional expertise and the rapid configuration tools within WISE, Royal 4 enable custom features to meet every requirement. WISE manages Inbound, Value Added Services, Outbound, ASRS integration and the Sequencing for JIT deliveries. This included load planning, delivery scheduling and EDI ASN confirmations. Royal 4 Systems has been instrumental in improving productivity and lowered the cost of operation at ARD.
