Software Engineer

Duties

Responsible for developing, coding, installing and maintaining the company’s various
software systems product lines. Modify existing software products or develop entirely new resources. Develop, test and implement new software programs. Communicate with management and technical support colleagues. Design and update software database. Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization. Independently install, customize and integrate commercial software packages. Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues. Manage all technical activities following the company’s implementation methodology. Consult with business and operational process. Manage technical activities. Prepare and update project timelines/schedules. Lead all software/hardware requirement meets. Lead all custom software development, data conversion tasks and all interface development tasks. Manage development of the Data Plan Document, installation, certification and training. Attend all status meetings with customer-facing and internal. Responsible for resolving customer queries, recommending solutions and guiding product users through features and functionalities. Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email or chat. Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features. Analyze and report product malfunctions, testing different scenarios or impersonating users. Update internal databases with information about technical issues and useful discussions with customers. Share feature requests and effective workarounds with team members. Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved. Assist in training junior Engineers and Support Representatives.

$102,360 – 120,120 per year

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline.

Experience: 2 years of experience in the job offered, or in a Software/Program Analyst or Software Developer position. Experience must include working knowledge of analyzing, developing and testing new software applications. Must have hands-on experience investigating, writing and testing complex code using OpenEdge ABL (Progress 4GL) as programming language. Experience can be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.

Senior Sales Consultant – Tire WMS Software

Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Senior Sales Executive with deep experience in selling WMS and related enterprise software solutions within the tire industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tire warehousing and distribution challenges and a proven track record of closing high-value software deals with B2B clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working directly with the VP of Tire Sales Manager to Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for our Tire WMS software.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects.
  • Conduct product presentations, demos, and ROI-driven solution pitches tailored to the tire industry.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and implementation teams to ensure smooth sales-to-service handoff.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing structures with decision-makers and procurement teams.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and CRM documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and evolving customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise software sales.
  • Direct experience in the tire industry sales environment is required.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed multi-million-dollar annual quotas.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to map software solutions to operational pain points.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with tire inventory systems, barcode scanning, shipping/receiving workflows and ERP integrations.
  • Understanding of SaaS delivery models and recurring revenue contracts.
