WISEfront – Royal 4 Point of Sale (POS) system
The WISEfront – Royal 4 Point of Sale system is a comprehensive solution for retail, handling daily POS tasks like cash drawer management and returns. POS Activity
- Day/shift Drawer Start and End
- Track funds added or removed (to a Safe of other repository)
- Supervisor’s screen for daily reconciliation
- Handle full/partial returns for credit/refund/substitute
- Station configuration dictates what can and cannot be performed at that station (has a CC pin-pad connected or not, allowed to take returns, etc.)
- Barcodes tied to product and container size
Pricing – FlexPrice
- Contracts – customer specific price lists
- Specials – example: normally $9.95, for a limited time – $8.81
- Lot specific pricing (deep discounts near expiration)
- All types of BOGO (buy so many, get some free/@ a reduced price/percent off)
- Including Mixed BOGO (multiple products combined; free/discounted cheapest item)
- Bundle discount (buy at least 1 of X, Y, and Z, get a percent off)
- Mix $ discounts – the more $ you buy of a certain product line (or otherwise grouped items; can also be ALL items), the higher you go on the price list scale – up to 10 levels
- Ability to price different units-of-measure individually
- Ability to price a smaller unit of measure than the inventory base UOM – in the warehouse we receive and move cases of Coke, at the POS we can sell a single bottle
- When an item has any incentives, upsell alerts are provided to the cashier
Integration w/ Central Office ERP

- Same pricing as when they call the order in
- Can purchase on account
- Can be stopped for Credit Hold
- Can pay down their balance at the POS station (CC, Check, Cash)
- Automatic updates to A/R and G/L of all activity
Integration w/ WISE Warehouse
- On going inventory updates
- Instead of picking up all the product in the store, a customer can create a shopping list at the POS, put the order on hold, have somebody collect the product for them in the store, then check out – OR –
- They can create a “shipping” order that is immediately released to the WMS. Warehouse staff picks and packs the order, deliver it to the front/POS area, the customer checks out
- The latter can aid in SALES – with the right hardware and connectivity, you can walk a major prospect through, scanning product into the POS, creating the order that way
- In a pinch – the orders created in this method can be shipped to the customer directly (the POS is then a backup for your distribution order entry system)
